Short description

Tom Riddle was an English half-blood wizard considered to have been the most powerful and dangerous Dark wizard of all time. Descended from Salazar Slytherin on his mother's side through the House of Gaunt, Tom Riddle was conceived whilst his father, Tom Riddle Senior, was under the effects of a love potion supplied by his mother, Merope Gaunt. When the enchantment was lifted, Tom's father abandoned his pregnant wife and returned to Little Hangleton. His mother died moments after giving birth to and naming him. She named him after his father (Tom) and maternal grandfather, Marvolo Gaunt. Tom was raised in the Muggle-run Wool's Orphanage.

Eventually, Tom discovered his true heritage and set out on a path to become the most powerful and dangerous Dark wizard of all time. Tom Riddle, the notorious Dark Lord, was unlike any other wizard in the wizarding world. His presence commanded respect and fear from even the bravest of witches and wizards. He was known for his impeccable wit and charm, his intelligence matchless in any room he walked in. His silver tongue could sway the opinions of even the most guarded skeptics. Dressed in elegant dark robes draped over his tall and lean frame, he exuded an aura of power and authority. His piercing gaze could freeze even the bravest of souls, and it was rumored that one direct stare from him could see straight into someone's very soul. Though he was feared by many, and loved by few, there was no denying that he was a force to be reckoned with.
